Who I am
Half designer/illustrator, half pun enthusiast, and half fractions master. I fell in love with visual arts at an early age; as a kid I was notorious for drawing Ninja Turtles on all my homework assignments (Leonardo is the best, btw, thinking otherwise is wrong). Later on I became enamored with the visual identity process and how impactful a simple yet well designed logo could become not just recognizable, but an icon in pop culture and society. Nowadays I’m a self-described Swiss Army knife of design, highly proficient in several aspects of graphic design: logos, branding, publication, web/wordpress design, ad design, and illustration.

Graphic Designer, timuquana country club (07/2024 - present)
Lead designer for the Timuquanan, a bi-monthly newsletter created for TCC members to promote events, communicate news, and celebrate the members of the community.
Create impactful digital graphics to highlight important happenings around the club.
Design email templates to improve readability and click through rates of various campaigns.
Create social and app graphics to use in the member app.
Developed processes to increase app use among members and improve the user experience.
Graphic Designer, American Culinary Federation (07/2019 - 06/2024)
Created visual branding elements for the ACF National Convention, the ACF’s annual event offering advanced demonstrations, culinary competitions, keynote speakers, and a celebration of culinary excellence.
Lead designer for the National Culinary Review, a bi-monthly magazine created for ACF members that focuses on culinary trends, recipes, experiences, and talent.
Web master for WeAreChefs.com, the official voice of the American Culinary Federation.
Design email templates to improve readability and click through rates of various campaigns.
Developed key promotional materials such as PowerPoint presentation templates, annual reports, media kits, and 3 year strategic plans.
Adjunct Professor of Digital Media, Florida State College at Jacksonville (07/2021 - Present)
Create comprehensive coursework to help develop integral skills in digital illustration and graphic design practices.
Apply lesson plans to in person, online, and hybrid course settings.

Web/Graphic Designer, HomeASAP (07/2017 - 06/2019)
Created a sales toolkit of several promotional items and presentations to assist outside sales reps, which led to a 9% increase in revenue.
Generated additional revenue streams by creating animated social media promo templates to increase the digital product offerings.
Assisted in the automation of real estate listing videos in conjunction with the development team.
Developed new visual identities for the company and its digital products.
Freelance Designer, ExactaMando Design (01/2013 - Present)
Aided in designing the e-commerce platforms for Target, Total Wine and More, and the user review systems for Memorial Health Care Systems and Brown Forman Wines.
Created infographics for Campbell’s Foodservice and Clemens Food Group, as well as animated social
media illustrations to help display important data in a visually compelling manner.
Developed visual identities for numerous local businesses, and created social media strategies to help improve their online presence.
